Mapping Applications
I have been developing GIS Mapping applications for the past 5 years. The main product I use is MapXtreme. This product is integrated with the .net environment and provides a tremendous ability to create, interact, and return mapping information in both the windows and web world.
Here are a few pages to try:
Basic information about an address will be presented to the requestor. This
application targets addresses in Cary, North Carolina. Addresses outside of Cary
can be entered by adding the city and state to the request. A note of caution:
the geocoder is only set up for six states, so you may find no information is
returned when the request is actually valid. It just isn't supported by the
geocoder.
Get Layer Info By Latitude and Longitude
Information is returned for each map layer that is intersected with the requested latitude and longitude.
Get Layer Info By Property Identification Number (12 character)
Information is returned for each map layer that is intersected with the requested 12 character property id.
Get Layer Info By Property Identification Number (10 character)
Information is returned for each map layer that is intersected with the requested 10 character property id.
Get Layer Info By Real Estate Identification Number
Information is returned for each map layer that is intersected with the requested real estate id.
List of all the fields avaiable for each layer that is returned in the Lat/Long or ParcelID request.
Information is logged to perform performance and billing requests for web service utilization.
